Frosted Acrylic Rods – Sandblasted Look, Durable & Easy to Work With
TAP Plastics' frosted acrylic rods offer a striking white, semi-translucent appearance with a uniform sandblasted finish that diffuses light beautifully. Whether you're designing modern lighting fixtures, retail displays, decorative accents, or creative art pieces, these rods add a clean, contemporary touch to any project.
Made from high-quality extruded acrylic, these rods are lightweight, durable, and easy to cut using common tools like a handsaw, table saw, or band saw—making them ideal for DIYers and professionals alike. Frosted acrylic is known for its smooth matte finish, diffused light transmission, and ability to mask fingerprints and scratches better than clear alternatives.
Use them in architectural models, signage, crafts, furniture components, or anywhere you need an attractive and functional round plastic rod. Their clean white frosted appearance pairs well with both minimalistic and bold designs.
Available in various diameters and standard 6-foot lengths, with optional TAP cutting services to suit your project needs.

We'll cut your item in half at no additional cost to help you avoid the oversize shipping charge. Perfect for smaller projects or convenient handling. -
Custom Length (Specify in Checkout Comments)

Custom cutting is available—some requests may incur a labor fee. We’ll contact you with details before processing.
ⓘ Why the Fee?
UPS and FedEx charge extra for packages over 48" long—including required padding—for manual handling. These oversize fees apply on top of regular shipping rates, and may also apply to heavy or extra-long packages. TAP applies a flat fee to help cover these added carrier costs.
