Cut to size orders are cut with table and CNC panel saws and have a cut tolerance of +/- 1/32". Plastic sheets have a thickness tolerance of +/- 10% and can have thickness variations throughout the sheet. Cut to size items cannot be returned for a refund or exchange.

Sheet sizes, colors, thicknesses and products available on our website are available at TAP Plastics stores.

Visit or contact your local TAP Plastics store where cut-to-size orders often take less than five minutes, start to finish.

Understanding Opaque vs. Translucent vs. Transparent

Opaque Acrylic (0% Light Transmission)

Absolutely no light passes through the sheet. Nothing behind it can be seen. Ideal for high-contrast signage, silhouettes, blocking light, or bold decorative pieces.

Translucent Acrylic (Some Light Passes Through, No Visibility)

Light glows through the sheet, but objects behind it are not visible. Perfect for backlit signs, décor, night lights, lamps, and light diffusers.

Transparent Acrylic (Like Colored Glass)
