TAP Plastics’ clear polyester film (TransPet™ CAD2-F) is a durable, ultra-clear PET plastic designed for professional and DIY applications that require strength, clarity, and chemical resistance. This Mylar film features a glossy, two-side chemically treated surface that improves adhesion for many solvent-based inks, coatings, and adhesives, while also offering excellent color fidelity and optical clarity.

Important Note on Printing:
This Mylar film is not compatible with aqueous (water-based) inkjet printers, such as HP DesignJet series. It is optimized for solvent-based inks, screen printing, coatings, and adhesive lamination. For best results, verify ink compatibility with your printer system before ordering.

UPS applies oversize fees to packages over 48". An added shipping surcharge will apply to all 48" rolls. To avoid this fee, TAP now offers 44" wide rolls that deliver nearly the same coverage at standard shipping rates.
