✅ Helpful Usage Guidelines:
-
Measure Carefully – Use wax-free paper or plastic measuring cups. Do not use Styrofoam or clear plastic cups.
-
Add Catalyst Accurately – Use TAP MEKP catalyst. Refer to the included catalyst chart for proper ratios based on mold depth and temperature.
-
Mix Thoroughly – Mix resin and catalyst for at least 60 seconds, scraping the sides and bottom of the container.
-
Pour in Layers – For deep castings, use multiple layers. Let each layer gel (not fully cure) before adding the next.
-
Embed Objects – Add embedments face down on gelled layers. Use TAP Ultra-Seal™ on porous or paper items to prevent discoloration.
-
Prevent Air Bubbles – Pre-warm resin and molds to around 90°F. Dip embedments in catalyzed resin before placing.
-
Curing Time – Allow full cure before demolding. For tack-free finishes, use TAP Surface Curing Agent for touch-up.
⚠️ Safety Note:
Clear-Lite is a flammable liquid and skin sensitizer. Always work in a well-ventilated area and wear proper protection. Avoid food areas and open flames.
