Frosted Plexiglass Sheets – Cut to Size for Privacy, Diffusion & Timeless Design

TAP Plastics’ frosted acrylic sheets (also known as frosted plexiglass or frosted Perspex) offer a beautiful translucent finish that softens light, reduces glare, and provides varying levels of visual privacy. These sheets are perfect for customers who want:

  • Job-ready cut-to-size materials

  • A premium frosted / matte aesthetic

  • Privacy, blur, or “obscure glass” functionality

  • A lightweight and safer alternative to frosted glass

All of our frosted acrylics are lightweight, UV-stable, and easy to cut, laser-cut, fabricate, or machine. Choose the look and light-transmission level best suited for partitions, lighting projects, retail displays, windows, cabinets, photography, signage, and interior design. All sheets are one-side Matte and one-side Glossy.

Colorless Clear Frosted Plexiglass - Also Available in Green Edge

Elegant Light Diffusion • Frosted Glass Alternative • Matte One Side / Glossy One Side

Our Frosted Colorless Acrylic Sheet offers a luxurious velvet-matte finish that diffuses light while maintaining excellent brightness. Often chosen as a lightweight alternative to frosted glass, it adds a modern, understated look to retail fixtures, cabinetry, lighting, and privacy screens.

Because the matte texture softens reflections and fingerprints, it’s ideal for hands-on displays or illuminated projects where clarity and glare control matter.

Why Customers Choose P95 Frosted Plexiglass

  • Soft, uniform diffusion with up to 92% light transmission

  • Elegant frosted surface on one side, glossy on the other

  • Reduces glare and blurs objects without blocking light

  • Easily machined, cut, laser-etched, bent, and fabricated

  • Great for photography and signage where reflections must be minimized

Best For

Lighting diffusers · Retail displays · Sign faces · Privacy partitions · Furniture accents · Exhibits · Wall cladding

Frosted Translucent White Acrylic – “Milky White”

Bright Diffusion • Ideal for Backlit Applications • Smooth, Even Glow

Our Translucent White Frosted Acrylic Sheet delivers strong light diffusion with a smooth, milky appearance. Perfect for projects requiring a bright, glowing, evenly illuminated surface, this material prevents clear visibility through the sheet while lighting beautifully when backlit.

Available in multiple thicknesses, thicker panels provide increasing levels of privacy and richer diffusion.

Why Customers Choose Frosted Translucent White

  • Glows beautifully when backlit

  • Diffuses light smoothly—ideal for light boxes and fixtures

  • Matte one side, glossy one side for reflection control

  • Maintains privacy while transmitting up to 60% light (depending on thickness)

  • ADA-compliant for wayfinding and signage

Light Transmission by Thickness

  • 1/8" (0.118”) → ~69%

Best For

Architectural lighting · Menu boards · Sign faces · Fixture lenses · Retail displays · Interior décor panels

Opaque White Acrylic – Matte Finish

Zero Light Transmission • Clean, Modern Appearance • Privacy or Blocking Panels

Our Opaque White Frosted Acrylic Sheet provides a solid matte surface that blocks light completely. Unlike translucent frosted plexiglass, this version does not glow when backlit. It is perfect when you need a clean, modern white panel that hides everything behind it.

The matte finish is excellent for photography, lighting control, and design installations requiring a minimal, glare-free appearance.

Why Customers Choose Opaque White Acrylic

  • 0.1% light transmission for full opacity

  • Ideal for covering fixtures or blocking visibility

  • Matte one side for reduced reflections

  • Fabricates easily—great for enclosures and decorative panels

Best For

Blocking panels · Photography backgrounds · Decorative surfaces · Enclosures · Retail displays

Opaque Black Acrylic – Matte Finish

Light-Blocking • Premium Finish • Sleek and Modern for Fabrication

Our Matte Black Opaque Acrylic Sheet is a designer-favorite for modern interiors, display work, and fabrication. With 0% light transmission, it offers complete privacy and a dramatic, premium appearance. The matte surface prevents reflections and fingerprints, while the glossy opposite side provides an optional finished look.

Why Customers Choose Frosted Black Plexiglass

  • Zero light transmission—total opacity

  • Beautiful matte finish ideal for photography and displays

  • Cuts, machines, and fabricates cleanly

  • Durable, UV-stabilized, indoor–outdoor material

Best For

Retail displays · Privacy panels · Photography · Signage backgrounds · Modern furniture accents · Enclosures
