TAP Premium Opaque Pigments
Our Premium Pigments are a paste to tint polyester, vinyl ester, epoxy resin, and polyurethane. Blend primary colors to create any shade or hue on a color wheel. Mix a custom color to match repair work. When color-matching repairs, sand, and polish a portion of the existing gel coat to remove the oxidized and faded layer; then match the emerging color. Over time the patch will fade to match the rest of the boat or part. Add about 6 to 8% of pigment by weight or 1/2 pint of pigment per gallon of resin.
